There is also a free open-source option, InfluxDB 3 Core, with no license required. No longer in force as of 2026-09-07: influxdata.com/influxdb-pricing/, the page this record cites, answers "Is InfluxDB free to use?" with "InfluxDB Cloud Serverless also has a free tier with limited data ingestion rates and 30-day retention.
