Free Tier Status Badges
Embeddable SVG badges for GitHub READMEs, documentation, and blog posts. Show whether a vendor's free tier is active, at risk or removed — and read unrated, with the reason, wherever the vendor's own page on this site publishes no verdict.

What each badge says
active — we rate the vendor stable, on a reading we can attribute to the page we cite.
at risk — a recorded pricing change narrowed this vendor's terms.
free tier removed, deprecated, retired — the offer we listed has ended.
stale — a statement about us, not the vendor: we have not re-read the page within 68 days, one full pass of our re-verification loop.
unrated — we publish no verdict, and the badge says why: the page we cite was unreachable, unreadable, stated no terms, or did not name the vendor; or the offer is restricted, expired or not free. 745 of 1572 vendors read this way, the same as on their vendor page.
Grades: A (all stable) → B (minor caution) → C (moderate risk) → D (high risk) → F (critical). Badge links to the Stack Health Check tool for full details.
