Retracted — this record was our error (2026-09-28). The AWS Activate program now offers up to $200,000 in credits, an increase from $100,000 for VC/accelerator-backed startups. The description of credits for AI startups building on custom silicon is no longer present. Retracted 2026-09-28: the rise to $200,000 is real but happened between the Internet Archive's captures of 2026-05-31 and 2026-06-14, which a separate record describes.
