Free tier metric changed from 'checkpoints' to 'Test Units' (50/month) and user cap relaxed from 1 user to unlimited users. AI-powered visual regression detection unchanged.

Kiro pricing model clarified: uses credits (not interactions). Credits metered to 0.01 increments, model-dependent rates (Sonnet 4 costs 1.3x more than Auto). $0.04/credit overage (disabled by default). 500 bonus credits for new users (30 days). Enterprise tier with SAML/SCIM SSO. GovCloud ~20% premium, no free tier in GovCloud.

Windsurf Max plan ($200/mo) confirmed as power-user tier alongside Teams ($40/mo/seat). SWE-1.5 Fast Agent model announced for faster iteration. Full tier lineup: Free (limited daily quotas), Pro ($20/mo), Teams ($40/mo), Max ($200/mo).

DeepSeek V3.2 replaces V4 branding. Pricing dropped: chat model $0.30→$0.28/M input, $0.50→$0.42/M output. Reasoner model pricing unified with chat at $0.28/$0.42 (was $0.55/$2.19). Free token welcome package appears removed.

Xata pivoted to open source (Apache 2.0) in April 2026. SaaS free tier (15 GB storage, 75 req/s, 10 branches, daily backups) retired. Free-forever usage now requires self-hosting on Kubernetes; the managed platform is paid with a 14-day free trial and $100 credit.
